Important Note
Students must bring their laptops for the last two sessions. Classes are held on Saturdays only to encourage maximum participation of school-going children.
Overview of Scratch and Coding
We’ll start with a brief introduction to Scratch and explore its interface, and different coding blocks to embark on your first coding adventure.
Popping Balloons
Delve into the exciting world of game development. Create an interactive balloon-popping game and use the webcam to pop balloons using hand gestures.
Talking Robot
Complete your first fun coding project – a virtual talking robot. Learn how to add audio, create speech interactions, and make robots respond to user inputs.
Lost in Space
The creative journey resumes with activities that include animating space and the universe. Using Scratch’s animation capabilities, kids will learn how to design celestial objects, planets, stars, and even alien characters.
Tom and Jerry
Reimagine the antics of Tom and Jerry. Animate the mischievous cat and clever mouse, scripting hilarious interactions, and dynamic movements.
Mario Hunt
Create a Mario-inspired ghost-catching game. Design the game levels, create the ghost characters, and program Mario to chase and catch them with Scratch.
Maze Game
Build an exciting maze game with different levels and build characters to navigate the maze, collecting rewards and avoiding obstacles.
Chatbot
Develop a conversational chatbot that can interact with users and respond to queries. Explore the real-world application of AI in a fun and engaging way.
Go Green
Develop an eco-friendly project featuring a game of recycling superhero on a mission to clean up the environment and foster a sense of responsibility to save the earth.
On Targets
Master the XY coordinates. Create a fun target-hitting game with different projectiles to hit specific targets to master Cartesian coordinates and projectile motion.
Boat Game
Create a cool boat game with racing boats, program their movements, and navigate a challenging course filled with obstacles and surprises.
